So, Halloween this year, we had ourselves a pink butterfly and a superhero (firestar, as she said, but a completely different costume). We went to Longmont to go to Nana and Grandpa's church Halloween party and Trunk or Treat. Then we went to Dakota Valley's Monster Mash for about 10 minutes (I'd call that a bust - too many people and not enough organization). Then we went trick or treating. The weather couldn't have been better - clear skies, 52 degrees and no wind. What that meant was a nice time out with the girls. The Mr. stayed back and handed out about 5 pounds of candy - the great redistribution, as I call it; we give as much away as we get back.
The butterfly - she plays dress up every day of her life, so she wears this with little effort.
The Superhero. Thanks to Nana for making the skirt and cape.

Candy in the mouth
See that spider ring? It was really special during Halloween.
