poblano's and drool.

Miss A likes to help make dinner. So, two days ago, I was making something that includes poblano peppers - you know, a green bell pepper with a tinge of heat. Well, she had her plastic knife that can't cut dirt and was going to town on that pepper when she said, "ouch, mom, I got something in my eye." Within 30 seconds she went from a mild 'ouch' to panic screaming in pain. So, crying baby down, crying 3 year old up and head under tepid water. Talk about an 'episode.'
Well, my surprise was that half her face stayed red and feverish for about 2 hours. And here is what a drenched, half-fevered face child looks like 30 minutes later:

And Miss E is full of drool. And she does a lot of push-ups, screaming, talking and more drooling.

It's pretty great.

Poor Miss A! There's a famous incident in my family in which one of my brothers tricked his younger brother into eating one of the small decorative peppers growing on a house plant. And an ER trip. And a stomach pumping. And the quick throwing away of said house plant. And punishment of a big brother.

And that is some seriously impressive drool!
