new bed part two

thanks everyone for thinking that new bed was cute and how exciting and what not. we had 2 perfect blissful nights. She laid down and went to bed and got up 11 hours later.

then she realized the proximity to the door, the door knob, the toys, and the parents. We tried various things, but after one really bad night and some heart wrenching experiences (one in particular where she got caught under the blanket and was terrified and when she got up the blanket was stuck on her head...she looked like a baby ghost walking to the door) she has been happily put back in her crib. She was even happy about this (she asked for her cozy crib). We'll get the bed out again in a few months when she is more ready.

On a really really great note - she had her wheat challenge - my child passed and now she can eat wheat. She had her first bread stick last week and thought she was in heaven.

and all the pictures are just because I wanted to add some pictures.

We just put Hailey her in bed this weekend. First night she fell off (we're getting a guard from my sister today) and last night she was in our room because we gave her bed to Grandpa. We'll see how tonight goes. We put our crib away, so I really hope this works!
Love the pictures.

Dang it! Wish it would have worked better. Well, in a few months it will be different. If you don't have a reason to get out the crib then stay right?

Hip hip horray for A-bear. She could have a wheat party in our basement!

Well, that's parenting for ya. Excitement to total bummer in seconds. But she'll do it eventually. Maybe just leave it in her room for her to get comfy there??
Hooray, Hooray, Huzzah for wheat!
And the pics are just plain adorable. Oh, how I want to meet that girl in person (and I wouldn't mind seeing you again, either!).

I am glad to hear that the wheat allergy is gone. Sorry the bed thing didn't work this time, but I think the crib is the easiest way too go, if Clay didn't climb out of his he would still be in it. Hope all is well!
