fall vacation - Oceanside, CA

 After visiting Hemet, CA and before going to Disneyland, I really wanted a day at the beach.  It couldn't have been better weather.  It was sunny and warm and bright and not crowded.  Miss A loved loved loved the water and the sand and everything involved.  She had such a great time.  Miss E was more of a sun baby - she really actually just laid out in the sun and relaxed.  And she dug in the sand a lot. 
One of the treats of the day was that Michael, Taylor, Page and Danica (Taylor's sister) got to come with us.  I loved that.  My kids loved that.  Michael introduced us to sand crabs which honestly grossed me out - like sand cockroaches.  But it was sort of cool.

After lunch - we had fish tacos from down the pier. yum.
