How do you do the laundry?

When you have a full to the brim laundry basket and a baby who wants to crawl head first down the stairs after you, what do you do? It has long been a practice of mine to put said child in the laundry basket and carry them down together.
Yesterday, my man figured this out. The baby was happy. The mommy was happy. And the laundry got done.
