you know after the holidays when nothing is going on and it's gross outside mostly, and people get sick and you still have to do laundry, clean, and go shopping with children?
oh, and you want to start new years resolutions, but have already failed, thus putting yourself in the category of the 80% of folks who don't succeed year after year (only 1 in 5 achieve their resolutions, and I'm pretty sure they are the folks that cheekily say, "I resolve to not resolve" or "I resolve to never start a diet" - you know them).
anyway, it makes me grumpy.
ideas to pull out of the january grump?

Watch a chick flick, paint a picture, sew something, read a good book, make a cake and frost it really cool, make up a new recipe- do all the fun things that you don't have time to do when your life is too crazy and hectic the other 11 months of the year!! Love ya!!
hmmm.....sounds like there is a need for a GIRLS NIGHT!
I ditto Jenn. Or you can come let the kids play at our house and we can talk about intellectual stuff . . . or you might just have to be happy with my smiling face :)
I hear ya! We got a membership to a fun place INDOOR. I know you got that great museum. Maybe that would be a good place to escape at least once a week.
