A few saturday's ago, we went up to the mountains, south of colorado springs, and found ourselves an apple orchard where you can 'pick your own' fruit. It is swiftly becoming a dream of mine to own and operate my own orchard/farm, just like this.Anyway, I had a great time. Miss A got a bit too tired, Miss E is really too little to care and my man - well, he was just a good sport. I got 30 pounds of apples (and some raspberries) and Wednesday, I made applesauce.
