gardening with a toddler

On Monday evening, we went to the home improvement store and bought some plants. We had checked a book out from the library about planting a rainbow and Miss A was quite pleased to be able to plant her very own rainbow. I let her pick out the flowers and she helped me plant them. It was late by the time we finished and somehow, just potting plants, she got filthy. She left a film of dirt in the bathtub that night after only 20 minutes of garden time. What does my summer hold in store as that was only from a pot, not the entire garden.
