not really a whole lot to say, except we were supposed to be in California right now, but the one freak storm of the season decided to come on THIS random thursday. so we wait. one the positive side:
we didn't have to wait at the airport with a 2 year old.
we had a fun family snow day.
we got to have home made bread and stew for the last cold day this season(hopefully)
we built a blanket fort with our girl - who knew a flashlight, a card table, a blanket and a pillow could bring such joy?
and we will REALLY appreciate southern california weather now.

This post made me think of another time long ago... Who knew that those crazy seed pod thingys in your backyard couldbe so much fun, either?

It's snowing here again right now...will it ever end!? I'm very jealous you went to CA. Are you guys coming in Nov with us too!?
